Property Appraisal
There are three methods of property valuation used by the Delaware County Auditor to appraise the properties for tax purposes in Delaware County.
The first is the Cost Method, which analyses the depreciated cost of reproducing or replacing the building and site improvements and the estimated land value. The depreciation in value should be deducted. This method can be used in all kinds of properties, especially the properties where the market and income data are not adequate. The second is the Income Approach.
The second is the Income Method, which is most frequently used in the properties for commercial and industrial uses. The County Auditor should analyze the income that the property would generate and maintain if it is invested or rented. The relative quality and durability of the properties are also considered.
The third is the Market Method, which studies the selling prices of similar properties that have sold recently. The location, size, design, age, condition, quality, desirability, and utility of the properties are the key factors that the County Auditor should take into account. This method directly reflects the true condition of the property market.

There are three search criteria - Search by Owner, Search by Address, and Search by Parcel Number.
Choose the search criterion you prefer and enter the relevant items in the search fields.
Then click the "Search" button, and you will get a wealth of information about the property, including address, legal description, assessment, current value, current tax, recent transfer, dwelling, sketch, photos, etc.
