About the Property Appraisal
According to Ohio Law, the Stark County Auditor should make a mass appraisal of all properties to get fair, accurate, and uniform market values for tax purposes within Stark County. The market value is the sale price of the property on the open market. During the process of mass appraisal, the Auditor collects data from various approaches including field verification, pictometry or aerial photography, sale/value information, local auction results, and MLS (Multiple Listing Service) data verification.

Two search methods are available - Basic Search and Advanced Search.
Using the Basic Search, you need to enter one of the Parcel ID, Owner Name, or Property Address in the search field.
Using the Advanced Search, you need to select the criteria you want to use and then enter the relevant information in the search fields.
Click the "Search" button, and you will get information about the property, including profile, values history, appeal history, sales, tax summary, tax detail, tax distribution, special assessments, land, sketch, aerial map, etc.
How to Estimate the Real Estate Taxes?
A Tax Estimator Tool is provided by the Stark County Auditor for you to estimate and plan for your real estate taxes in Stark County. You can estimate your taxes by selecting a specific city/village/township or school district or by using your property’s permanent parcel number.
