Geauga County Property Tax
Real estate taxes are collected twice a year by the County Treasurer. Your real estate taxes cannot be increased by the county treasurer. There are two factors that may lead to an increase in real estate taxes. The first factor is the tax levies enacted by the voters in your county, and the second is an increase in the assessed value made by the County Auditor. Real Estate Tax bills are normally sent out in January (first half) and June (second half) each year. The deadlines for paying taxes are the second Wednesday of February and the second Wednesday of July. You can also choose to pay the full-year taxes at one time.
A Real Estate Tax Search and Pay Page is provided by the County Treasurer on the website.
Enter the name, address, or parcel number in the search field and click the "Search" button. You will get the real estate tax information. If the taxes are unpaid, you can click the "Add to Cart" button and then pay the taxes online.
