Muskingum County Property Tax
The Muskingum County Auditor is responsible for preparing the tax bills. There are two factors that may change the amount of property taxes - the property valuation and the tax rate. If you do not receive your tax bill, please contact the office of the Muskingum County Treasurer.
You can pay the property taxes online at muskingumcountytreasurer.org or by telephone at 866 648-1955 using a credit card, debit card, or electronic check. You can also pay the taxes in person at the Treasurer’s Office using personal checks, cashier’s checks, money orders, or cash.
If you do not pay your property taxes by the due date, a penalty of 10% of the current taxes due will be charged. If the penalty is paid within ten days of the tax deadline, it will be lowered to 5%.
