Ottawa County Property Tax
The due date for the second half of Real Estate taxes for the 2022 tax year is July 6, 2023. You need to make the payment or post-mark the payment by the due date to avoid the penalty. A plenty of 10% of the amount due will be charged after the due date. There are various payment options for you to pay the property taxes.
Pay in Person: You can make a payment in person at Room 201 in the Ottawa County Courthouse between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Please note that only cash or checks are accepted at the office.
Pay by Mail: You can mail your property taxes as well. Please note that the payments should be postmarked by the due date to avoid the penalty.
Pay by Drop Box: The drop box is located under the canopy at the Jefferson Street entrance of the Ottawa County Courthouse. Cash payments are not accepted by the drop box.
Pay by Phone: Please call 1-888-3578394 and use the jurisdiction code 4561 for Ottawa County. Credit cards, debit cards, and e-check are accepted.
Pay Online: You need to find your parcel via the Tax Search page. Then click on the electronic payment method you prefer at the bottom of the page. Please note that additional fees will be charged for the use of electronic payment methods.
