Scioto County Property Tax


The property taxes are calculated by multiplying the Assessed Value by the Effective Tax Rate. The Assessed Value is 35% of the Market Value. The due date for the first half property taxes is February 14 and the second half due date is July 20. If the payments are made or postmarked after the due date, a penalty will be charged. 5% of the tax amount if paid within 10 days after the due date, 10% thereafter. How to Pay the Property Taxes?

You can pay your property taxes online using the Search & Pay Property Taxes Tool on the website.

Pay Taxes Online

You need to enter your name, address, or parcel number in the search field, and click the search button. You will see the payment status of the property taxes. Click the "View" button on the right, and you will get detailed information about the property taxes. If there is an amount due, click the "Add to Cart" and enter the amount you want to pay. Then click the "Pay" button to make the payment.
