Summit County Property Tax
It is the responsibility of the taxpayers to get and pay the tax bills on time. Late payments caused by any reasons including failure to receive the tax bills are not permitted. The penalty is 10% of the unpaid taxes for the first half. A further 10% penalty will be applied to the total amount of unpaid current taxes if the tax bill is not paid by the second half due date, which implies that the 10% penalty for the second half applies to the taxes and penalties from the first half. You can search for the details of your property taxes by parcel number, name, or address on the Property Search page.
