Wood County Property Tax
According to the Ohio Revised Code, real estate taxes are collected by the Wood County Treasurer in Wood County. There are two due dates for the payment of real estate taxes - February and July. The amount of real estate taxes are influenced by the value of the property which is decided by the Wood County Auditor and the tax levies which are determined by the voters in Wood County. Wood County has about eighty (80) taxing districts, each of which has its own tax rate.
